She was built in Amsterdam to the highest standards; I bought her on the recommendation of Hanneke Boon and brought her to Italy with the help of Brian Middleton, an expert builder and technical consultant at James Wharram Design. This summer of 2026, life is taking me to other destinations and Elao cannot bear to sit idle in port, so I hope to hand her over to someone who will live her with passion and enthusiasm. The boat is impeccably built and maintained, and is by no means cheap. If you’re looking for a Tiki that needs patching up, isn’t true to the plans, has convoluted modifications and perhaps doesn’t even come with the original design, look elsewhere.
