Exciting News from the Worldwide Catamarans Team
35 Years in the Multihull Business

Joining myself, Graham, in the company are two younger members of the team with some very special talents.
First is Martins Vilums, creator and developer of our websites:
Martins has been responsible for building our new online platform from the ground up, together with the rapidly growing Catamarans For Sale Facebook Group.
We also have Martins Kohs, who looks after the business side of things. Martins originally returned home with a Law degree and, as luck would have it, brought his best friend Martins Vilums along with him. Between the three of us I feel we’ve built a formidable team.
The two Martins are Latvian, while I’m an Englishman who spends half the year in Latvia and the Baltic States, and the other half following the sunshine in Spain. It seemed only natural to establish a Latvian company together, and so Worldwide Catamarans SIA was born.
Our Facebook Group Catamarans For Sale
Our Facebook Group Catamarans For Sale has now grown to over 130,300 members, adding around 100 new members every day.
Social media is a wonderful thing. I understand why so many owners want to sell privately. Free advertising is always attractive, and selling your own boat can seem like the obvious choice.
But we’re here to help.
Yes, we’re trying to monetise the group, but brokers and private sellers are already paying thousands to advertise on the big platforms such as YachtWorld and Rightboat. Our difference is simple.
We specialise in multihulls.
The world is getting smaller, and our marketplace is growing just as quickly as the Facebook group.
👉 Browse the latest listings https://catamaransforsale.net/listings
We’re investing both time and money into putting every listing in front of genuine catamaran buyers around the world.
Our members come from every corner of the globe and we want to offer real value at a sensible price.
One of the biggest advantages of listing with us is simple:
- No broker’s commission when selling privately.
- If you do want professional help, we’re happy to assist at a fixed 5% commission, provided we work directly together rather than through co-brokerage.
If you’d like to see how quickly our marketplace is growing before deciding where to advertise your multihull, have a look at our latest website statistics:

Buyers Hub
I just wanted to share something we’ve recently built that I think many of you will genuinely find useful.
It’s called the Buyers Hub.
Instead of checking the website every day hoping the right boat appears, simply tell us exactly what you’re looking for.
That could be:
- make
- model
- budget
- cabins
- location
- VAT status
…or simply type something like:
“Leopard 45 or similar, 4 cabins, under €350,000.”
Our AI understands the meaning, not just individual keywords.
Every two weeks we’ll send you a personalised email with matching boats.
For sellers there’s another benefit.
Every paid listing is automatically included in these buyer emails, putting your boat directly in front of people actively searching for exactly that type of catamaran.
Real exposure to real buyers.
It’s completely free for buyers and only takes a couple of minutes to set up.

Blue Coast Yachts
We’re also proud to represent Blue Coast Yachts, built in Riga at the Latitude Yachts shipyard under renowned naval architect Jean Jacques Coste.
Jean Jacques is well known for designing two of the world’s largest trimarans:
- Galaxy of Happiness
- Galaxy
along with an impressive range of custom-built super catamarans from 75 feet upwards.
These are not production boats.
Every Blue Coast Yacht is individually designed and built to a standard that rivals anything in the world.

Introducing Voyage Yachts
We’re equally pleased to announce that we’re now official representatives for Voyage Yachts.

- Stylish.
- Safe.
- Spacious.
- Built properly.
Exactly as a cruising catamaran should be.

After-Sales Support and Production Yards
Having dealt with after-sales support and the politics that often comes with dealership agreements over the years, I became increasingly disillusioned with many of the larger production yards.
Behind the smart suits, polished sales pitches and now the endless AI marketing hype, it became difficult to find a builder I genuinely felt comfortable representing.
I wasn’t looking for a factory producing 500 boats a year.
I wanted a yard where people still cared.
They didn't even have a boat on display. But after meeting Bonnie and Ashleigh from the Voyage shipyard in Cape Town, South Africa, I knew I’d found the people I’d been searching for.

Why Voyage?
Built to handle South Africa’s demanding sea conditions with strong winds and heavy seas.
I also spent time reading independent reviews, including those from Multihulls World Magazine:
https://www.multihulls-world.com/tag/voyage-yachts
A genuine desire to build better boats.
They’re not simply pouring resin in one end of the factory and taking your money at the other. They care about their reputation.
John Jones’s Eyes
If you want to know what John Jones buys, you have to look at it through John Jones’s eyes.
So I ran a survey in our Facebook group. Questions included:
- Sail drive or shaft drive?
- Galley up or galley down?
- Engine access under the bed or from the transom?
The responses were fascinating.
Easy for Builders
On many modern designs the engines are buried beneath oversized aft cabins.
Changing an impeller sometimes feels like a job reserved for one of Snow White’s seven dwarfs.
Boom boom!

Dealer servicing isn’t cheap, and parts aren’t always easy to find in remote cruising areas.
Voyage’s Choice
Much easier. Much cheaper. Far simpler to maintain.

There’s also less chance of damaging the hull if you strike something or snag a line.
Galvanic corrosion is another hidden problem in many marinas.
Tie up next to an old steel yacht leaking stray current and, within months, your anodes - and eventually your sail drives - can quietly disappear.
Engine Access
Some owners don’t even check the oil as often as they should because it’s simply too much hassle.
Then comes the inevitable dripping oil on your new quilt… or the heavy-handed marine engineer who isn’t nearly as tidy as you’d like.

Perfect Design
For me, a 50-foot three-cabin owner’s version is just about perfect for a cruising couple with family.
There are plenty more reasons I could mention. Having known Voyage for many years, I believe these boats have a very bright future.
Many were originally aimed at the charter market, but their new owner’s versions are exceptionally well thought out and I believe demand will be very strong.

Looking for a Voyage 510 in Europe
We’re currently looking for a Voyage 510 to base in Europe. Our intention is to use the boat at three major international boat shows and as our demonstration yacht for an agreed period.
Before handing over your hard-earned money to secure a build slot with one of the larger production manufacturers, do yourself a favour.
Take a serious look at Voyage Yachts. I genuinely don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
